Hi all,

when using the discription
http://doc.m0n0.ch/quickstartpc/setup-installing.html
and writing the generic-pc-1.3.img to CF card by using
Code:
:~# gunzip -c generic-pc-1.3.img | dd of=/dev/sdb1 bs=16k
I get the error:
Code:
gzip: generic-pc-1.3.img: not in gzip format
0+0 Datensätze ein
0+0 Datensätze aus
0 Bytes ....

 Huh
Did I missunderstand the discription or is the command not correct?

Hope you can give me some ideas, because I did not find anything about this error.

Best Regards, monohenk

Does the MD5 or SHA256 checksum for the image file match those available from the download page? Perhaps the image is corrupted. If so, try another mirror for the file.
