Hi Monowall users,

I have a question about the default block and allow rules. I have a monowall running in my home network, just a basic setup running on a Soekris. No extra rules, just the default lan rule to allow all outbound traffic.

When I'm doing certain things on of my computers, I still see blocked attempts originating from the lan network, how is this possible when the default "allow all" rule is enabled?

example:

   LAN   10.0.1.13, port 52763   201.83.XXX.XX, port 58863 TCP

could someone enlighten me why this is blocked when I allowed all outbound traffic?

oops, sorry I didn't found that myself, thanks for the quick reply! That explains why I was seeing those blocked packets...
