The company I now work for are servicing a fair number of customers and have until now only had Netgear routers/firewalls for the IPSec tunnels.
Since I've been using m0n0wall for this at other sites and am really satisfied how they work I have suggested that we swap the Netgear devices to m0n0wall's. The problem is that we can't do that "over night" at all locations because of the geographical distance. Is there a way to make m0n0wall "talk" to Netgear using the default Netgear VPN settings (DES/MD5)? Anyone that has successfully had a Netgear FVS114, Netgear FVS318 or a Netgear FVS338 at one endpoint and a m0n0wall on the other?
Any help is much appreciated.

I have a 1.32 m0n0wall linked to a  FVL328 but none of the ones you listed.

Thanks Roy, I'll have a look at the Netgear's we've got. Doesn't look quite the same, but maybe it's possible to choose different "modes" on the ones we and our customers got.

The Netgear we have at the base have some kind of hexadecimal keys, like 0x123 and at the other endpoint the key should be 0x321... I have no idea of what that is.
(I actually didn't look too carefully on the settings in the Netgear)
I tried to have a look and I couldn't see any Pre shared keys etc like I know from the m0n0wall's... I wonder if Netgear has some kind of solution of their own..? (that's why I wrote "Netgear default" settings...)
