hey, i have a serious problem caused by physdiskwrite. i used the drive letter instead the drive number in the start parameter of physdiskwrite. after that nearly every file was damaged. after a reboot windows could not boot. gparted says that the partition is undefined.

unfortunately, the files on the drive are very important. i hope that there is a way to fix this problem.

I don't think you are going to find any viable solution to your problem. The program can not protect you from writing to the "wrong" disk.

Hi,
physdiskwrite writes to the wrong disk if you have more than 10 devices (drives from cardreaders counts too) and want to write to disk 10 it overwrites disk 0 .
