Hi - I have used a M0n0wall as a WAN simulator, configured as a bridge and with a pipe set to limit bandwidth and add delay.  I am not convinced by the timings, no fault on part of m0n0wall but perhaps my lack of knowledge on how m0n0wall works in this scenario.

Can you please give a full explanantion of how the delay and bandwidth restrictiona are applied and how closely this relates to real-time netowrk delay and any limitations (or tweaks) that I should know about?

As I understand it the delay is implemented by M0n0wall queueing incoming packets and delaying the queue for a set period not individual packets?
