I did a little research, the NIC-U1 is "DAVICOM Semiconductor Inc." chipset based.
You might find them in many USB NICs, because they are made to be easy re-brandable.

However, I see no FreeBSD driver support at all [only Windows, Linux, MACOS], so that's it, for now.
PS: I forgot to mention one little thing, the chip is small and heats up, so have that in mind.
