Topic: DHCP Relay: more than one server  (Read 1680 times)

We have a network configured with 2 DHCP servers, with overlapping scopes (20%/80% scope split) and non-overlapping ranges.

There appears to be no way in the webGUI to set more than one DHCP server.  So, is there a way to break to a command-line, and edit config files to get 2 servers in there?  If so, how do I go about doing so?

If not, is there a plan to add support for multiple DHCP server relay to account for disaster preparedness and so forth?

Thanks,
RIch

totally OT, but why would you possible want overlapping DHCP pools?

The addresses don't overlap, just the scope.  In case we lose a DHCP server, the other one will pick up at least some of the workstations.

This is a test setup - a dup of our prod environment, minus the expensive physical switch/routers.
