I am able to get to my http://HSDVOIP.DYNDNS.ORG from outside my network. but i am unable to get it to work within... I can type the server address 192.168.1.145 from a different computer at 192.168.1.144 but when i try hsdvoip.dyndns.org from within it wont connect.

I am able to goto https://hsdvoip.dyndns.org from inside. and get to my MONOWALL witch is at port 443..

I have tryed opening the ports and like i say it works from outside but not in.

Any help on this issue would be Great....

Thank you.
Greg

IN my LOG i keep seeing this.

X    01:48:32.531934    WAN    192.168.0.1    99.149.175.151, type echo/0    ICMP

I would assume the 192.168.0.1 in my modems ip or somthing. It is not on my internal network. It is Blocking it..

I know that 99.148.175.151 is my external ip address... but what does the echo/0 and ICMP mean...

Thank you.

WELL i have figured out my OWN answer to the question to why it was not forwarding....

I had to set the following for it to forward.
Services: DNS forwarder

Host    Domain                                      IP                         Description
  BLANK    hsdvoip.dyndns.org     192.168.1.145        dyndns.org

"Your" own answer is well documented, and could have been found with a search of this forum.

Also, if you look at the bottom of the Firewall: NAT: Inbound page you will see this:

------------------------------------------------------
Note:
It is not possible to access NATed services using the WAN IP address from within LAN (or an optional network).

------------------------------------------------------

hsdvoip.dyndns.org resolves to your WAN IP address, so it will not work, as stated above.
