Hello.

I'm trying to set up captive portal for users in public library. I've set up radius server with mysql database. Now I'm wondering which data is m0n0wall sending to radius/mysql? Does it just check username and password in radcheck table or does it store also other informations like session start and end? Where can I get proper database and table structure for mysql?

Thank you.

as i understand it, monowall only authenticates the username and password - meaning it gets a yes or no from radius as to the validity of the credentials. it doesnt send or receive any other information.

Bigk!
You will find all you locking for in the radacct table.
In case you use freeradius have a look in /doc/examples.
Find the script to setup the radius table in mysql .

It can do a lot more.  Jonathan and I worked for several months making it WISPr compliant.  And now, or course, WISPr is gone... Sigh...
