First let me say I have spent countless hours reading the forum. There is allot of stuff on the dmz but I am not getting anywhere. I got my m0n0wall setup no problem yesterday except for one problem. I am using windows home server and do several family websites. It was easy setting up my linksys router to be able to access my server online but I have tried many things with no results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I thought I was fairly technical until this. By the way I only have 2 network cards so I dont have a seperate one for my dmz or maybe it's just port forwarding. I know just enough to be dangerous.
Could use a little hand holding.
thanks so much in advance.

Please read thru the m0n0wall handbook.

http://doc.m0n0.ch/handbook-single/

Section 6 is where you want to concentrate.

Thanks for the suggestion. I guess this is beyond my skills. I read and read but no luck. I even have a new mini itx computer with 4 lan connections so I can have a seperate port for my windows home server. Just can't access it from the web. Time to go back to my wrt54g unless someone can point me to a step by step procedure. Thanks

I can't believe all the time I spent on this but I missed one little thing. It was probably working all along after my initial setup but I missed this note. It is not possible to access NATed services using the WAN IP address from within LAN (or an optional network). I had my daughter try and access my server from outside my network and it works. Live and learn.

Glad you have it going now.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to suggest that that warning appear at the top of that page rather than the bottom. And perhaps it could also be in all red type as well.
