Hi,

I know that monowall can act as a pptp server, or to redirect pptp conections, but is there a way to set monowall to establish a pptp tunnel to a remote server? Basically, I would like a pptp tunnel between two corporate networks, where the remote pptp server is already available.

Tks,

Esquilo

I dont think there are any built in methods to dial out form a monowall box, however IPSec tunnels are far more secure and reliable than PPTP and are capable of dialing out.

I dont understad your map of network.
Monowall can serve PPTP if the machine host is behind of (under the lan, subnet).
With IPSec a third device (like another firewall or router) can be gateway to IP public, and Monowall will stablish a tunnel (Im not sure if work this schema under PPTP).
