Hello,

With your help (Thank You!), I have redone my configuration as follows :

LAN -> 192.168.1.1, 255.255.255.0, 192.168.1.1
WAN -> 192.168.2.1, 255.255.255.255 (DSL Internet)
OPT1 -> 192.168.3.11, 255.255.255.128, (On Cisco AP: IP: 192.168.3.11, 255.255.255.128 DG 192.168.1.1)
OPT2 -> 192.168.3.12, 255.255.255.128, (On Cisco AP: IP: 192.168.3.12, 255.255.255.128 DG 192.168.1.1)

I am now able to ping the AP's, WAN, and LAN  from the console, and when connected to the LAN port but when connecting wireless I get a DHCP address but no internet. After performing ping tests it seems both AP's can communicate with each other, but nothing else.

To add When checking ipconfig, I get the following from my wireless adapter:

IP Address: 192.168.3.90(meets dhcp scope)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.128
Default Gateway: 192.168.3.12
DHCP Server: 192.168.3.11 (Huh not hosting dhcp from AP)
DNS Server: 192.168.3.12 (Huh not hosting dns from AP, DNS Forwarder is enabled on Monowall)

Is there a something else I am missing, as I am desperately trying to reach my final goal of using both AP's as captive portals?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Your OPT1 and OPT2 are still in the same network.

I suggest:

OPT1 192.168.3.x/255.255.255.0
OPT4 192.168.4.x/255.255.255.0

Not sure what else might not work, but start with easy, valid interface definitions.

It's possible to split a class C in half with a 25 bit netmask, you will have to always mention that fact, because if you don't, 24 bits will be assumed by many. And unless there is a reason you must do this, you probably shouldn't. I know I wouldn't.

Hello,

I have changed the OPT1 and OPT2 as recommended, thanks again for that.

The DHCP, DNS, and Default Gateway addresses being received on wireless clients is now the IP address of the AP via DHCP address scope.

I am still unable to connect to the internet and I have attempted the following:

Put OPT1 - Source OPT1 net - any - any
Put OPT2 - Source OPT2 net - any  - any

My guess would be a routing issue with 192.168.3.x and 192.168.4.x networks, but I am not too sure as my LAN rule works fine as it communicates with 192.168.2.2, 255.255.255.255 on my WAN.

I am attaching a copy of my config file, and appreciate any guidance you can offer.

I am somewhat confused by your information.  Do you have the interface IP the same as your access point IP?  Is the access point really an access point, or is it a router?  What is your IP address when you connect to an access point?
