hello, i was trying out the generic-pc-serial version.  i couldn't get the serial connection to work so i want to revert back to generic-pc-1.33b2.img but when i try and upload it I get an error:

The following input errors were detected:

The uploaded image file is not for this platform (generic-pc-serial).

obviously I suppose the current logic doesn't intend on me overwriting the generic-pc-serial version to go back to the generic-pc version of monowall.  what do i do?

I have a transcend 512 MB ide flash module (http://ec.transcendusa.com/product/ItemDetail.asp?ItemID=TS512MDOM40V-S)

i tried reverting to older *.img files but no luck.

i think i may have to put the cdrom version in and then do the local install (like option 6 or so) to start fresh.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

Simply rename the generic-pc image to "generic-pc-serial-..." and then upload it. That will defeat the compatibility check and allow you to go back to generic-pc.
