i can connect to my vpn and yet i cant get any resources on my lan,

lan
192.168.3.1

server address

192.168.3.0

remote address
192.168.2.0

i dont have a server per say i am using m0n0wall as my server and it is located at 192.168.3.1 so are my settings correct

when i connect i am given a lap ip address of 192.168 2.5

just cant reach any lan computers or anything

any help would be appreciated

try setting your PPTP server to:192.168.3.63 and your remote address range to: 192.168.3.64.

also, make sure you have a PPTP interface rule to allow traffic to pass.

You don't provide the netmasks you are using with 192.168.3.0 and 192.168.2.0, and it a bad idea to make assumptions. But it is more than possible that you are using a 24 bit netmask here and that makes the two IPs you list network addresses. And these are generally never used for individual devices.

im not following what your saying..... i put in what i had in my server pptp settings..i can connect and get a assigned ip address but no local traffic

and yes i am using a /24 from the drop down

what should the settings be set to?
