Hi,

I have a Soekris running m0n0wall 1.231.  I want to use Wake-on-LAN to wake up hosts on my WAN interface.  However, when I go to the Wake-on-LAN page the 'Interface' pulldown only allows me to select the LAN interface.

Any ideas why this might be?

I think this would be a pretty unique scenario.  What is on your WAN interface that you'll be waking?  Perhaps the device would be better off on an OPT interface?

Hi,

In my case, the WAN interface is simply attached to my LAN.  I'm not running PPPOE on it.

The Soekris is being used as a firewall between my corporate LAN and a guest network that's been established.  It's also providing DHCP services on the guest network.
