Hi,

Well, after investigating this issue for several hours now, I am completely frustrated.
To make a long story short -

1. It's a new installation, just to test m0n0wall again pfSense. All running on VMware ESXi.
2. I've properly defined LAN & WAN interfaces, and I can access the web gui from both.
3. WAN interface is a *real* static ip address.
4. I've installed regular linux box (debian), just to test the traffic and defined m0n0wall as the default gateway.
This test box is using real static ip addresses as wall, no NAT rules so far.
5. I've disabled the default "block all" traffic rule, and created a single "pass any any" rule and the WAN interface.

Any traffic in/out the test machine is being blocked by m0n0wall.
Screen shots are attached.

When you say *real* IP, do you mean a public routable IP? If you're using an internal IP (such as 10.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x) you'll need to uncheck the box "Block Private Networks" on the WAN page.

If that's not the issue, try rebooting the m0n0wall, it may need to clear out the states table or something.
