How can I set set the outgoing TTL to 128 or 64?

I lernt how to get into all files in generic-pc-1.33.img and edit them. (I cannot add sshd into M0n0wall in generic-pc-1.33.img)

Finally I managed to change the TTL for packets going from LAN to WAN

Add the command, wrapped in a <shellcmd>sysctl net.inet.ip.ttl=255</shellcmd> tag, to
the <system> section of the config file (download it using config
backup, make the change in a text editor and restore it)
