Hey there,

after upgrading from m0n0wall 1.3 to generic-pc-1.8.0b476.img I experienced almost random freezes on the system. Most times the boot process stopped on different points, but sometimes it was booting fine and got stuck later.
In every case there was unfortunately no certain error message shown. Interestingly m0n0wall enabled the chipsets hardware encryption.

That's the board: http://www.cpuboards.com/cpu-boards/mb-5blmp.htm#tabSpecs

I just wanted to flag this. I will try to test newer snapshots once they arrive.

Thanks and keep up your great work on m0n0wall!

I'm having similar problems, but on Intel hardware. See:

http://forum.m0n0.ch/index.php/topic,5124.0.html

I can always get fully booted, but it's only a matter of seconds to minutes before it crashes with nothing in the logs or console to provide a clue as to what's happening.

It could be tough to get to the bottom of this without anything being reported by the system. Sorry to hear you are having problems, but I'm glad that I am not alone Smiley

1.33 runs flawlessly on the same hardware.
