I'm running m0n0 on a Shuttle XPC system and currently if I don't go use exec.php to change this sysctl variable, then my console gets spammed with the following:

acpi_tz0: _TMP value is absurd, ignored (-127.0C)

If I exec the following command, it goes away:

sysctl hw.acpi.thermal.polling_rate=0

It'd be nice if there were a feature to either execute this on startup or to add parameters to /boot/loader.conf from the gui.  Either/or.

Oh, and for what it's worth, I am running today's SVN build 1.8.0b477.  Hopefully this is a feature that can be implemented in the new 1.8 branch.
