Are there any plans to support RFC-6106 (obsolete RFC-5006) to deliver DNS as an IPv6 RA Option?

As native Windows does not support this yet, there is a third-party Add-On to accept such an option: http://sourceforge.net/projects/rdnssd-win32/

I am aware that RFC-6106 is not yet available in the mainstream router products and that M0n0wall 1.33 works perfectly using RA for the IP-Address and DHCPv6 for the other options.

this was only added to freebsd in April, so we would have to look at what backporting (if any) is required for freebsd 8.

it isn't high on my list, as you can configure clients by using dhcpv6 for DNS setting, and RA for address using the 'Other' flag, not 'Managed'.  That is supported in windows , mac and linux clients without patches or client ugprades etc (unless it's a very old version of the OS).
