If there is anyone that can offer some suggestions on how to get this configuration working, I would really appreciate it.

Here is the hardware used:
I am using Monowall to handle my LAN connections and my connection to the DSL model (WAN).  My OPT interface is connected to a LINKSYS WRT54G router that enables my wireless traffic to get a connection.  My intention is to segment LAN traffic from the OPT traffic (WiFi connections).

Problem:
I cannot get the Linksys router on OPT to communicate with the DSL modem or m0n0wall while connected to my m0n0wall router through OPT.  All other aspects of my m0n0wall connections work fine, such as LAN to WAN.  I have tried to ping from m0n0wall to the Linksys router on OPT, but I get a return error of "ping: sendto: Can't assign requested address".  My Linksys router is using a IP address of 172.16.1.1 whereas the m0n0wall router is using an IP address of 192.168.1.1, so I don't think there are any issues with working off of the same subnet across two different routers.  Here is my m0n0wall configuration for the OPT interface:

OPT Rule Details:
Action:  Pass
Interface:  OPT
Protocol:  any
Source:  (do not check box)
Type:    OPT subnet
Source port range from:  any
                    to:  any
Destination:  not (check box)
Type:    LAN subnet
Destination port range  from:  any
                          to:  any

Thanks for some advice in getting this working.

Todd
