Hi

My ISP provides IPv4 and IPv6 dual stack configurations over a PPPoE connection. M0n0wall works great so far: On the WAN interface I get the first address of my public IPv4 subnet and on the LAN interface I get an IPv6 adress with DHCP-PD. From the LAN I can access the internet with IPv4 and IPv6.

Because I need to use a firewall with powerfull UTM services (which has no IPv6 support over PPPoE) I want to bridge the WAN interface eg. to OPT1 without NAT. Unfortunately this does not seem to work because there is no public IPv6 address on the WAN interface. Does anyone know a solution for bridging PPPoE connections?

Thanks for any hints
Olivier

Why not route ipv6 through m0n0wall to your firewall instead of bridge ?
