So my ISP is supplying Dynamic IPv6 !! (PPP dualstack v6/v4) Yes, i know that dynamic ipv6 is crazy but that what i have until they get their new ipv6 network online.
I have monowall (1.33) setup for ipv6 and it works except when the V6 address changes. When that happens PCs on the lan don't see the new ipv6 addresses (they remain on the old, now invalid, one)
I'm not sure if this is happening every ipv6 change but it's definitely happening sometimes
When it has occurred all clients have no ipv6 connection. If i login to monowall, click on the 'LAN' page and just click 'Save' it instantly comes right and lan clients get the new address. (so not changing anything, just clicking save)
Dynamic ipv6 being so uncommon it's probably a simple LAN update line missing in the ipv6 address allocation code. but that's just a guess.
LAN is set to - DHCP-PD - 1/56 prefix - "Send IPv6 router advertisements" ticked
WAN - PPPoe - PPP v6 mode
