If I'm on the far side of my back yard (I have a BIG back yard and my ALIX has an XR2 in it), the ACK times out too soon and I end up with an excessive amount of wireless traffic as a result. It would be nice if a Maximum ACK time-out option could be added to minimize the excess traffic.
I know this feature exists in pfSense, but I find m0n0wall works better for me on the ALIX boards than pfSense does. So I suspect it wouldn't be too difficult to add this.
