Upgrading from 1.3 to 1.33

A couple of questions about this upgrade.
I am booting Monowall from a CD with floppy for saving config files.
1. Can I boot a 1.33 CD and use the same floppy config disk.
2. Can I simply copy the config file from the floppy to a USB stick and expect 1.33 to deduct and read the USB stick?
