First of all I just wanted to compliment Manuel on a product that I've been using for 10 years, thanks!!

Using generic-pc-1.8.0b480.img with configuration 4 NIC's: LAN, WAN, OPT1 and OPT2, after upgrading from generic-pc-1.8.0b478.img I get the following;

Is use PPPoE and after a reboot there are no ISP DNS servers on the WAN interface status. So I can ping 80.254.71.228 (=http://m0n0.ch) or even browse using the IP address, but of course surfing is a no-no.

Installing generic-pc-1.8.0b478.img and all is well again

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed!

(BTW is there a way to dump the startup screens on the console)

If you mean the bootup messages, you can get them by running the dmesg command from the unsupported exec.php page in the WebGUI.

This is now fixed in b481. The problem was that MPD5 introduced a subtle and undocumented change to the way the DNS server arguments are passed to the up-script.

Thanks for the report!
