There seems to be a CP issue in allowing some devices past the sign on screen even though they get a IP adddress, even with a pass thru IP and MAC they still sem to get hung up on getting past the CP sign on page....it seem to happen most with Apple laptops at times....also one more issue I have seen is Xbox and PS3 gaming systems getting past the CP pages as well.....using MAC and IP pass thru sometimes works however is there an overall way to smartly allow these game systems past the CP pages and or the laptops that have these issues?

Please remember these senarios are all in heavily transient atmospheres where new laptops and devices are carried in and out of the networks daily. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly helpful.

Has anyone heard of these CP issues before?

Thanks....

i am having similar issues with the CP pages and redirects albeit on an older version1.33 and most if not all complaints are from mac users.

The only difference between b500 and b503 is the scheduler and if you want to use the scheduler I'd really recommend b503.

I agree I keep all ours updated to latest platforms....just our standard we use....try b503
Just remember that any NON screen interactive device such as a xbox or PS3 cannot authenticate to the CP screen sign in rules...therefore a MAC and a IP passthrough is needed for those devices each time they try to authenticate to the network. I am hoping there is a solution but as of yet this is the only I have found. Unless you tuen off the CP
