Generic-pc-1.8.0b496/7.img with configuration 4 NIC's: LAN, WAN, OPT1 and OPT2, after upgrading from generic-pc-1.8.0b495 I get the following;

Is use PPPoE and after a reboot there are no ISP DNS servers on the WAN interface status. Installing generic-pc-1.8.0b495.img and all is well again.

A minor cosmatic difference (or maybe it is related to ISP DNS problem when the check is not done with ip address), that the is no mentioning of using the beta version and the mentioning of the existence of a new version.

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed!

Ah, looks like I inadvertently committed an incomplete/buggy version of the ppp-linkup script. Will be fixed in b498. Thanks for the report!
