Dear Manual,

Thanks for the update to 1.8.0b500.  After a dmesg -a I saw that there was a  "WAN IP address: (unknown)". The console confirms this, everything works fine and the webGUI system log shows the WAN gets a IP address.

I reinstalled 1.8.0b499 and it had the same result, so maybe it has always been there but I never noticed it and is the WAN interface assigned later on in the start up process.

BTW I am using PPPOE and a PPPOA to PPPOE bridged modem.

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed!

That's normal - if the WAN IP address is not known yet when the console menu appears, it will be "unknown". If you hit enter again a little later, the console menu will be printed again and should then show the address.
