Hi dr01,
At the end of your text with the warning you see a Error message which says that you reached the maximum login capacity.

Did you investigate, is this true?

yes I think so....once I reset the gateway PC then people could sign on again...

does that help?

just restarting the box to solve a issue is not a good way to find bugs. Before you restart the box you should always do http://yourmonowallipaddress/status.php and post this. This could contain more valuable data.

You posted the error message. Was this message immediately before you did a restart?

yes it was right before my staff restarted the box....also of note we have about 150 of these out in the field serving multiple transient travelers....at almost all the sites we run a PC version or a 4801 version and a few 5500 versions of hardware....almost on all the versions of the PC platforms we turn off the CP feature and leave it wide open with no sign in screen and this solves all the random issues with MAC devices some win7 and some XP OS versions...

does this help?

Hi dr01,
i think the developers cant do anything on this before you send the status.php. (before restarting the box) This output helps in many cases to drill down.
The info you provided does not help. As you know sporadic errors are the difficult  to solve and to track. j

OK, then how do I perform the status.php command from a remote logged into session into the PC box running monowall b500?

as an example we log into the servers using http://xx.xx.xx.xx:port# as of right now....then we are into the server...

do you have to be local on the internal network to extract the status.php file?

thanks, dr01

Can you reach the m0n0wall WebGUI now? If so just change the page to /status.php

that worked, we got to the status screen now remotely....which line item do we copy and paste here that would apply or help you for the CP features and issues we are seeing at random?
