Hello Everyone....
I'm trying to upgrade hardware to handle an estimated 2000 users on a PC with the following characteristics:
+ Intel ® Core ™ i5 3.1GHz 2400.
500GB SATA internal HD +
+ 4Gb ram memory
+ Gigabit LAN (10/100/1000 Mbits / sec) with the Intel ® Gigabit Ethernet Controller 82579V
+ A plug-in card PCI Express * 2.0 x16
+ A PCI Express 2.0 x 1
+ A PCI Conventional bus connector

the idea is to use the integrated lan card and standard PCI port to insert another network card 10/100/1000

the problem I have is that when you install version 1.33 Monowall NOT recognize the integrated network card.

as some data will have to do to use it?

You might try m0n0wall 1.8 beta, perhaps the integrated adapter will be recognized by the later version of the underlying FreeBSD.

hello and thank`s for your anwser.
I currently using this version for testing but I sent an error response:
em0 Using an MSi interrupt

I can't move from there .... how could I do?

the only thing good is that the version m0n0wall 1.8 beta type recognizes the intel lan card

the m0n0wall 1.33 version I sent the message that there is no card....

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. It looks like some type of bug or incompatibility with the em driver. You might want to make a detailed post in the 1.8b Development forum and possibly The Bug Reports forum.
