Two ways come to mind.

1) In m0n0wall enable Services: DNS forwarder. Then fill in the table for DNS forwarder: Edit host with the host, domain and local IP address.

This will require that you use the m0n0wall LAN IP address for your client PCs DNS server specification.

OR

2) Edit the hosts file on each P to specify the IP address you wish the fully qualified hostname to resolve to. Restart the network on those PC or reboot them.

Thanx, solution 2 doesn't fit me. no manual editing.

Solution 1 seems to work, eg i want to include ports to, but that might not work?

my.url.com:80 -> my internal webserver
my.url.com:25 -> my internal mailserver

Including ports is not within the scope of DNS resolution.

okey, so it isn't possible to solve?

if i could get the "signal" to pass trough monowall as if it was came from the WAN it would work, i have working port forwarding there.

Not currently possible. Search the forums on "NAT Reflection" for further explanation and a possible but limited workaround for servers in an OPTional network.
