1.3 Development

Hi,

Are there any plans for a maintenance release for the 1.3x branch? I see a lot of activity for the upcoming new release but I'm a little worried about security updates for the 1.3x branch since the last version was released almost 18 months ago.

freeBSD 6.4 was supported until 2010-11-30. The actual development is based on freeBSD 8.2, but also this version has reached end of support since 2012-07-31.

What about security issues with these releases? I've not seen a general statement about the release handling and possible security issues. I think that it would be good to get clear statement according these points.
