I have a MW-FW101R and I just installed a wireless card, Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth PCIe Mini Card (INT-6230). I installed it utilizing both the main and the secondary antenna. Upon restarting the unit I am finding out that under the GUI status section for wireless, No supported wireless interfaces were found for status display.

I am trying to get direction on how to set up the wireless capability on my system. Does anyone know what would be causing this or if I am missing something?

Thanks.

Probably the wireless NIC chipset is not supported by FreeBSD 6.2.

Check:
http://m0n0.ch/wall/hardware.php
http://www.freebsd.org/releases/6.2R/hardware-i386.html#WLAN

You'll probably need Atheros but not AR5005VL based NIC.
If You can't find supported wireless NIC use ethernet NIC and a wireless access point.

m0n0wall 1.8.1 detects my Atheros based wireless NIC and assigns the ath driver to it but the ath0 interface still does not show up in the list of interfaces available to configure.

What do I need to do here?
