1.8b Development

Hi guys

I updatet my M0n0wall last week to 1.8.1b521. In the last few days i tried to update it with the newest beta build but it always fails. i can upload the file and i get told, that this version isnt digitally signed. i then press ok and the firewall reboots as inteted but it just didnt update and stays on the 1b521 build.

the syslog shows me those critical errors:

ad4:request while spun down, starting
ata2:timeout waiting to issue command
ata2: timeout wiating write DRQ
ata2: error issuing READ command

i then tried to disable the hard disk stand by time but this didnt solve my problem. Can anyone help me out on this or had the same problems?

Update:
Ok its solved . The solution was to set "Hard disk standby time" to "always on". Even if i tried that some times ago ... it now worked and i was able to update. Whatsoever, theres a problem with the that "Hard disk standby time" u might wanna look into.
