Firewall/NAT

Hello! Im not sure if this is the right place to post this thread, but i'll give it a try.

So I am using Monowall 1.34.
I have no WIFI at home, but I got the idea to use my Laptop (192.168.0.24) as a AP. I have now made a network bridge between my "eth0" and "wlan0", and then made an ad-hoc access point. I can reach this and gain access with laptops/whatever INSIDE the LAN, but my Smartphone won't find it. Is there something I have to open on my monowall to let traffic in on the AP?
