Dear all,

my m0n0wall appliance is configured to forward PPTP traffic to one internal server which handles VPN. This works great. From inside, I can't use outbound PPTP though. It times out waiting for GRE packets, then closes the connection. Trying the same configuration but without m0n0wall in between works.

I've also tried to switch PPTP forwarding off just to see if it makes a difference - it doesn't. What else could I try to allow outgoing PPTP connections? Regards,

Christian

ps: The PPTP server in question is located on a linux/iptables/shorewall based firewall. Connecting to it from behind another shorewall-based setup works, too.
