Some kind of AdBlocking software would be an awesome addition to the system

I've used pixelserv before in conjunction with a local dns system that worked pretty well

is there more interested in getting this feature implemented?

I doubt this will ever make it into m0n0wall. While it's a great idea, many people (including myself) use browser add-ons to block ads. Additionally, keeping m0n0wall lightweight with only essential services is an ongoing goal. Pfsense would be much more likely to add this (if it doesn't already have something similar).
