When i set up Captive Portal.

I understand i need to make per user accounts. I also noticed in order to log in the user needs to open a browser... I have a couple of questions:

- In order to access the LAN does the user then still need to login via the browser?
- I have a Soekris 4801 and will be connecting a Wifi accesspoint to the 3rd (OPT) network port... Will the DHCP function from the soekris hand out IPs to wireless clients regardless of CP?
- How reliable is the CP security? (I guess that partly depends on the password, but lets assume everyone has a tricky one..)
- What is the best way to setup the network? Creating a Class B network for the LAN and OPT ports? I need the wifi clients to access a NAS, and sometimes other computers, which is on a switch on the LAN port of the Soekris.

Looking forward to your ideas and tips!

Thanks a bunch!!
