Hi, I have been trying to get 1.8.1 running on my APU but so far it keeps hanging at the Grub loader? Did you have to upgrade your bios? Please share what you had to do?

Thank you!

I got 1.8.1 up & running on my APU1C by using physdiskwrite 0.5.3 to write to an 8GB SDHC.  No other cards installed.  Still on the pre-April 1st BIOS without any apparent problems.  23 days uptime at present.  I asked PC Engines if they had a changelog for the new BIOS, but they replied that they didn't have one yet.

Cheers,  Al.

Hmm, interesting.

What kind of throughput do you get from that APU board with monowall?

Well, I've only got a 30 Mbit cable connection here and it handles that without breaking a sweat.  Getting full 30 Mb/sec downloads at 6-8% CPU load.  Have seen a few other posts claiming several hundred Mbit throughput on the APU.  I believe it.

I had the same issue, any ideas why the -serial image does not work?

Could it be because its the APU supports SD cards (Which I'm using) not Compact Flash so we are suppose to be using the generic-pc image in the first place?
