Installation

I upgraded from 1.33 to 1.34a to 1.8.1 today.  [Soekris 4801, 2GB.]  I saved config files prior to each upgrade and after the 1.8.1 install.  System worked great until I had to log in again as admin, when it refused access as if my username/password was wrong.  I checked saved config files and verified that username/passwordhash are the same from prior to the first upgrade to after the 1.8.1 upgrade.  I tried a hard reboot to no effect.

suggestions?

Use the console to reset the password.  It could have changes, or it could have picked up a hidden character in the config file.
