Hello everybody,

we have a issue with the stablity of ipsec tunnels after upgrading to version 1.8.1. We use monowall on alix boards at 9 different sites to establish a full meshed WAN VPN. Everything works fine with version 1.34. After we update to 1.8.1 over 1.34a form time to time a single IPSec tunnel breaks away. For example the working connection between site A and site B breaks away whereas the connections between site C and A and site C and B is still working. As a workaround I disable and enable both endpoints at the corresponding monowalls. We don't have change the configuration after updating, maybe there is something to do?

Does anybody have a tip whats going wrong?

Thanks
Andy

You see where I am going here.  You have two tunnels with high traffic that overloads the CPU, and one times out and drops.
