My WAN IP changed, but even after nine hours, the Dynamic DNS service didn't update. I went to the Services: Dynamic DNS page and pressed the Save button to force the update.

I am assuming there is nothing in the log files.

I have noticed that occasionally the file that stores old IP address gets corrupt.  When you reboot it goes away, and so does the problem.  I looked into it for quite a while and was never able to figure out why it happened.

Does it happen again after a reboot?  If so, can you do an overnight memtest to make sure the issue is not there...  Then give me more details, like which dynamic DNS...

I didn't reboot it, I just wen into Dynamic DNS and pressed the Save button to force an update. The service is No-IP.org.

If it has the issue again after a reboot, it is different from the problem I had.  The only reason I saw it was I was running 100 firewalls...  It happened a total of about 8 times...

I guess we'll have to wait for another IP change. That was the first one in over two years. I can force one with a MAC change, but.....
