I recently came across a discarded, but functional, Check Point UTM-1 Edge router/firewall device. Does anyone here know if there's a way to put monowall on these, or if it would be compatible?

The trick is to find out what the CPU is.  If it is x86, yes. (Intel, amd, via, geode...)  If not, no.
