Hi,

I`d just want to connect to my ADSL Modem with the SM50b Software.
The Website told me, to get acces, enter:

Quote
iptables -I POSTROUTING -t nat -o vlan1 -d 169.254.1.0/8 -j MASQUERADE
ip addr add 169.254.1.7/8 dev vlan1 brd +

How can I do the same with m0n0?

If you tell us exactly what that does, your chances of getting an answer are much greater. The core contributors around here are BSD people and generally not familiar with iptables.

cmb: That`s exactly my problem.

I know that my modem has the IP 169.254.1.7/8, but it can`t reach it, because m0n0wall is between it and me.
First, I tried to change the m0n0wall & my IP adress range into 169.254.1.* , but I wasn`t able to connect to the modem.
Then I added a vlan in 169.254.1.* and added an outbound rule. But that doesn't work too.
