Hi there..

I'm trying to assign the IP-addresses for my interfaces but I only get one NIC as a valid interface.
The one I don't get as valid is a 3com 3c905-card. I guess it's because I don't have any drivers installed for that NIC (am I right?), so my question is if it is possible to install drivers without using a hard drive?
Or is there any configuration I need to do in BIOS or something? Or is it something completly different? =)

It would be great to get some help so I can get it up and running.. =)
Thanks

The 3com 3c905 under freebsd is a very well supported nic. See if your boot config shows that card sharing an IRQ with ANY other device. I have had motherboards that would not assign a different IRQ on a 3com card and the card would not respond.

Running m0n0 on a FOXCONN motherboard none of the 3com cards would work because they kept sharing with the video irq and something else.  I put them into a ASUS mobo and the nics got their own IRQ and responded perfectly.

So check to see if you see IRQ sharing and be sure to fix that.
