More specificly, how does one install to a IDE hard drive with it.  I have the installer, and desired image.  But I dont see how i specify the drive I want the utility to write to?

Also, I am installing to what this machine sees as the H drive, if that helps anyone in giving an example.

run physdiskwrite.exe from a cmd window and it will show you all your drives and you just select the one you want it to write the image to (0, 1, 2, ect)

i had problems getting it to a HDD. didnt like that all the ones i had were greater than 2gb. just went with a cd/floppy setup.

to use the physdiskwrite just drag your monowall image (.img) onto the phydiskwrite .exe icon. the command window will pop up and away you go.

I'm going to second that. I was using a 20gb maxtor drive when building my first m0n0wall and needed to -u my physdiskwrite.

Call me baby.

I'm running m0n0wall, on an old Pentium II machine.
