OK I can't for the life of me get this working.

Setup...

WAN 1.1.1.1 (Not Relevant)
LAN 192.168.10/24
WLAN 172.16.100.0/24

AP is plugged directly into the WLAN NIC.

Access Point
IP: 172.16.100.2
Gateway: 172.16.100.1

Now with my laptop if i connect to the AP. I can ping the AP. I cannot ping the gateway. Yet from my Internal Network i can ping both the AP and WLAN Interface. Right now I have rules on the WLAN and LAN Interfaces allowing everything trying to sort this out.

Any ideas why i wouldn't be able to get anywhere from the wireless side?

Thanks guys.

Ok let me simplifiy it.

How do I hookup a WAP direct to a NIC and have it act as a DMZ (WLAN in my case).

WLAN (WAP), should be able to access the net but not Internal network except for ports explicity allowed.

Thanks
