Hi,

I have got some colocation servers, that I want to protect with a dedicated firewall. I've got some public ip addresses (not a complete) from a subnet with the following setup:

gateway: 193.34.68.1
mask: 255.255.252.0

Now, I want to have a switched 192.168.1.0/24 network behind that firewall. I have tried to set it up, but I faild. So, I would really appreciate for some help.

Thx.
Sebastian

If you don't have a complete public subnet, you'll have to use a private subnet behind the firewall and then use proxy ARP for your IP's and use 1:1 or inbound NAT as you desire.

Thx for the reply. My setup is working, it was a defective network card that caused the troubles Smiley.
