Hallo ,
i use ver.1.3B4 en is it possible to block access to a website with the firewall ?
if so, how?

The rules in monowall are based on IP.  If you want to block access to a single web site, then you need to identify the IP address(es) of the web site and add a block rule(s) for it at the top of the LAN rules.  This method only works for as long as the sites IP address remains unchanged.  For a more robust solution for controlling access to sites, I would recommend setting up a Squid proxy server.

Finding the ip adress is not a problem
But your hint that it must be on top of the other rules did the trick

I have done with that way and second way>

Enable DNS Forwarder and then enter domain what you want to block set redirect to other IP and/or you have local web can create one page for remind those user.

Third way>
Menu >Firewall: Traffic shaper: Pipes create 1 pipe bandwidth 1 Kbit/s and  adjust delay to 1000 ms after that create rule source from single IP and target to 1 Kbit/s so when user try to connect that site too slow and upset.
